We were engaged on the project to undertake the full design and construction of the mechanical and electrical services on the flagship building on the Garrison project which had an overall project value of £550,000,000 over a 4 year period split into 2 phases.

The design had to be fully compliant with all stringent MOD specifications with particular focus on JSP 480 and JSP 440 which deal with the data/telecommunications installations within buildings.

Due to the nature of confidential information that is used within the building we had to install a fibre network to the entire building with Red & Black data points to all desk locations.

The initial project was completed within programme and to a high standard which resulted in a further 3 major packages being delivered by us on site over a 3 year period.REL were tasked with carrying out the installation of mechanical and electrical services to 7 new buildings at the Colchester Garrison project, which includes a mixture of offices and covered workshop / repair areas.
